Grow with the Show competition winners

‘Grow with the Show’ is a competition run every year by the Lincolnshire Show as a platform to showcase Lincolnshire’s young business talent. This year as one of the winner’s prizes we offered an extensive website review to help boost the winner’s online presence.

The competition invited entries from Lincolnshire entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 30 who have set up their own business within the last 18 months. This year’s winner was ‘Mantle’ a creative duo offering unique and clever conversions of shipping containers - turning an empty, ordinary box into unusual, contemporary and above all affordable spaces for both residential and commercial customers.

Mantle’s mobile container conversions allow both start up businesses and established organisations to take advantage of the industrial containers’ flexibility in terms of mobility, low cost and variety of practical applications.

Joint owner, Sophie told the Lincolnshire Show team:

“Having only been trading for five months, we entered the competition as we thought it would be the perfect platform to help us raise awareness of our brand by taking advantage of foot traffic at the Lincolnshire Show.
“We are going to use this amazing opportunity to showcase what we can do and just how versatile a shipping container can be. It will also be an ideal time to undertake market research and get a better understanding of other people’s opinions and ideas about our business.”

We’ve since produced a detailed website review for Mantle which includes a look at not only the appearance and usability of its design but also examining the site’s analytical data to help suggest the best route for how to progress the website further.

As well as our website review the winners have also won free trade space at the forthcoming Lincolnshire Show, £250 in cash, business mentoring from the Sparkhouse team and an invitation to this year’s Lincolnshire Media Business Awards.

Congratulations to Sophie and Aaron of Mantle!
