We designed and developed Digital Tools for Neurodiversity for Health Innovation East Midlands - an accessible online resource helping healthcare professionals explore digital tools supporting ADHD and wider neurodiversity pathways.
The platform makes a growing library of innovations easier to browse, filter and compare, with accessibility and neurodiversity-aware design considered throughout.
Clear, accessible and easy to navigate
With innovations spanning different pathway stages, audiences and levels of evidence, the challenge was to make a substantial amount of information feel simple and approachable.
We developed a flexible filtering system and clear innovation cards to help users quickly find and understand relevant solutions. Accessibility was considered throughout the experience, from typography and colour to navigation, layouts and interaction patterns, creating a calm and intuitive platform that remains consistent with the wider Health Innovation East Midlands brand.
Built to grow
The platform was designed as a long-term resource rather than a fixed directory.
Its flexible structure allows Health Innovation East Midlands to continue adding new innovators, pathways and supporting information as the neurodiversity technology landscape develops - creating a resource that can evolve alongside the programme.
