How we work
Engage your audience with captivating animations
Animations are a great way to simplify complex messages, avoid ‘death by PowerPoint’ and make your brand stand out in a busy social feed. So what’s the process?
The briefing
The first step in the process is to define the key messages that you’re looking to share as well as the context in which the animation will be used.
Building a storyboard
Before we create your animation we’ll present a brief visual storyboard to explain the steps/scenes that we’ll be looking to include for you to review.
Creating & exporting your animation
Our animations are created using Adobe After Effects. Once completed we can export your animation in a variety of formats including MP4 and animated GIF.

Insights

Your customers aren’t always comparing features, they’re secretly weighing friction. Which means your job isn’t just to sell the value - it’s to reduce the resistance. What if, instead of asking “How do we make this sound more appealing?”, we asked “What’s making this decision harder than it needs to be?”.

That first five seconds? They matter more than most people realise. But here’s the catch: when you’ve played a major role in the creative process, you’re usually too close to it to see the cracks - that's where a 5 second test comes in.

Most business blogs aren’t written for the people who matter - your audience. Instead, they’re written more like internal noticeboards and that means you’re missing out on one of the most powerful marketing tools
Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom animation cost?
The fees for an animation project vary depending on your chosen style, the complexity of the storyboard and the intended final usage. Please get in touch for an estimate and we’ll be happy to discuss ballparks.
How many revisions are included?
Up to three rounds of revisions as standard within our design contracts. Additional changes after this point are evaluated and estimated based on their complexity (we will never charge you extra without permission).
How long does the design process take?
Timeframes can vary from project to project but as a rough guide the process typically takes between 2-4 weeks from brief to completion depending on the complexity of the animation.
I am outside of the UK, how would this work?
No problem, we have many overseas clients and meet regularly via video call. All estimates and bills are provided in GBP and can be paid via bank transfer or credit card.
How do you bill for a project?
After a design contract has been agreed we will send over a deposit invoice for between 25-50% of the project fee (subject to requirements). The remaining balance will be billed upon completion with our standard 30 day payment terms.
