Working with Simons & Waitrose

Tom Bradley

We've just finished working on a range of marketing and exhibition materials for Waitrose to promote their proposed store in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. The project involved some clever 'handmade' designs working nicely with the well established Waitrose branding.

The proposed store in Malmesbury is a unique and creative design dropping a state of the art eco-build into the picturesque Wiltshire landscape. Using sustainable materials, building to BREEAM environmental standards with landscaped banks encouraging the local wildlife - the new store's ethos fits hand in hand with our own.

Working closely with the team at Simons (together with the ladies and gents at Waitrose, Indigo, Clarity NS and John Lewis - amongst others), we were asked to produce a variety of materials to be used to market and present at their upcoming Information Day held at Malmesbury's Town Hall. As the plans were for a store unique to Malmesbury in its design and minimal environmental impact, we agreed that the designs should mirror this gentler approach and tie in closely with Malmesbury's quaint rural history.

The design you can see above is just part of the full range of materials produced (more will be posted in our portfolio soon). In all we produced recycled A5 leaflets to advertise the event together with an array of exhibition displays highlighting the benefits of the new store, as well as posters and comment cards to accompany the exhibit.

It was great working with the extended team and we hope it's the start of a many more projects to come :)
