From quirky characters to tantalising typography, we gave Lincoln's oldest theatre a magical makeover
New Theatre Royal
Lincoln's Victorian theatre has been given a new lease of life by its passionate owners and we are thrilled to be playing our part in its regeneration
This award winning theatre hosts a wide range of shows throughout the year and we were tasked with presenting them in a creative and unusual way that was also in keeping with the fantastic history of the venue. We redesigned the theatre's event brochure with an historic twist to match some of the original vintage posters from the Victorian era. The new look included letterpress style typography, beautifully etched illustrations and a characterful design like no other.
Playful pantomime branding
As well as playing host to a variety of touring shows, the New Theatre Royal produces a number of home grown pantomimes throughout the year and we've been lucky enough to work with the team on the branding and marketing of these great events! All produced with the theatre's new signature vintage style, our panto brands have been a game changer within the industry.
Creative typographic designs-a-plenty
Working with such a venue allows us amazing freedom with our designs, the more theatrical and the more imaginative the better. We're enjoying working with the theatre on a range of marketing materials and look forward to continuing to work with them for years to come.
We wanted to celebrate the history and charm of the Theatre and Root Studio have provided us with a unique and striking look for our New Season Brochure. The team deliver on every level - great design, exemplary customer care and a never ending pot of ideas!
