Indian-inspired branding for Leicester's fusion tearoom, Hamira

Services included

Hamira serves a range of vegetarian and vegan savoury and sweet fusion dishes as well as a selection of fine teas.

The name 'Hamira' comes from a small town in Kapurthala, India and, apart from having a rich Sikh royal history and being renowned for its sugar mills and distillery, it is also the tearoom owner's place of birth so carries a deep personal connection. With this in mind we incorporated a strong royal heritage connection into the brand featuring the royal bird - the elegant peacock, and a sumptuous palette of dark blues, greens and gold. The peacock icon is entirely hand drawn by our designers in a traditional style, perched on top of an antique Indian tea caddy with tea leaves blooming out from behind him.
