Good menu design is an extension of your brand that also compliments the dining experience

Our designers will help you to communicate your restaurant’s menu, adopting your brand’s tone of voice and core values

Good menu design is more than a price list - it should tell a story, consider your audience’s context and experience and make use of subtle hierarchy to highlight dishes and inspire diners to indulge themselves with what’s on offer.

How we work

As experienced designers working with restauranteurs for 17 years, we know a thing or two about creating a successful menu design

Through a combination of design psychology, brand strategy, typographic skill and creative know-how, you can work with our team of designers to produce engaging, inspiring and profitable menu designs for your business.

Understanding your brand

It’s important that your menu design is an extension of your brand. We’ll immerse ourselves in your brand’s visual identity, its tone of voice and its core values to ensure your menu design is speaking the right language.

The creative process

We’ll work with you to create a design that speaks of your brand and embodies your flavours. From sophisticated minimalism to colourful explosions of texture and creative illustration - the direction of your menu’s design is entirely down to your brand and its audience.

The production process

Over the years we have built up a network of trusted experts in print production. Wherever possible we take care to ensure that any products commissioned by the studio are built to last and use the most sustainable and appropriate materials possible.

Environment

We’re dedicated to being carbon ‘positive’ forever. That means that any printed items produced by the studio will be offset at the end of the year at no extra cost to our customers. Find out more about our environmental policy here.

Frequently asked questions

How do you quote for a project?

Design fees for a menu design are usually calculated as a set fee (with the exception of retainers which are be tracked at an hourly rate). Print fees will be sourced from our trusted network of specialists.

How many revisions are included?

Up to three rounds of revisions as standard within our design contracts. Additional changes after this point are evaluated and estimated based on their complexity (we will never charge you extra without permission).

What happens if I don’t like the design concepts?

It’s important to consider what your target audience would respond well to rather than personal preference but if you don’t think our concept fit the bill then we will discuss why this might be before revisiting the design phase and presenting fresh ideas for your consideration.

I am outside of the UK, how would this work?

No problem, we have many overseas clients and meet regularly via video call. All estimates and bills are provided in GBP and can be paid via bank transfer or credit card.

How do you bill for a menu design?

After a design contract has been agreed we will send over a deposit invoice for between 25-50% of the project fee (subject to requirements). The remaining balance and production fees will be billed upon completion with our standard 30 day payment terms.
