New responsive tourism website dedicated to the Lincolnshire Wolds

Tom Bradley

Following on from the success of the Visit East Lincolnshire tourism website we’re proud to announce the launch of its sister site celebrating the area of outstanding natural beauty that is the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The Lincolnshire Wolds can be an under-appreciated area of the country but with its rolling hills providing idyllic walking routes, gorgeously quaint market towns and fascinatingly rich history, the Wolds now has a representative online that is sure to attract visitors from far and wide to its many attractions and hidden gems.

"Root Studio has supported us through the whole process, offering additional help when needed and since going live they have continued to support us. Needless to say we are extremely happy with our new website."

The new site uses the same bespoke infrastructure as the Visit East Lincs website which includes smart search functionality, inspiring content blocks and a unique management system allowing businesses to login and update their own respective profiles on the site. But there are some twists that make the Love Lincolnshire Wolds site different from its sibling - including a stunning new logo, a calming natural colour palette and various other subtle design tweaks across the site.

For those planning to visit the Wolds for the first time the site is a valuable resource with inspiring guides, interactive maps and an easy-to-use interface highlighting the many attractions, forthcoming events and unique accommodation available in the area.

We’re sure that the new website will share the same success as the Visit East Lincolnshire offering and we urge tourism businesses and event-planners in the area to register their details for a listing on the site. It’s absolutely free and offers a fantastic way to put yourself on the map (literally).
