We’ve been working closely with St Barnabas Hospice on the branding of their new Adventures fundraising events scheme.
Recently ranked 53rd in the Sunday Times’ Top 100 Not for Profit Companies, St Barnabas hosts a wide range of fundraising activities throughout the year in an effort to maintain the amazing end of life care services and support that they provide for those in need across Lincolnshire.
The project
The new Adventures brand focuses on those events that are more adrenaline-filled or, well - adventurous! From jumping out of a plane to running a marathon, walking on hot coals to trekking in Morocco - the activities available are ambitious and exciting in equal measure.
Members of the public who choose to enrol receive a discounted entry/sign up to each event, St Barnabas branded apparel to wear on the day and even one-to-one training advice to help them prepare themselves both physically and mentally. In return, participants are given fundraising targets tailored to each event.

The logo design
We were approached to create something out of the norm - bright, colourful and filled with energy but with a clear connection to the St Barnabas brand. The logo we've created for the campaign clearly translates the rugged and wild nature of the tasks involved. The colour palette and circular design also match that of the core brand for consistency.
With the new logo decided we set to work creating a comprehensive set of brand guidelines to allow the St Barnabas team to use their new brand most effectively and looked into creating a range of characterful illustrations to help promote some of the core activities. Our in-house design team hand illustrated a vibrant range of sports personalities in a larger than life style that brings a real sense of fun and inclusivity to the brand.

Marketing the brand
Finally we needed to help promote the brand. We began by creating a wide range of social graphics in all shapes and sizes, suited to all of the hospice’s key social channels. Following on from this we’ve produced a creative, 8 page A5 leaflet that promotes all of the key events running throughout the year. As you can see from the designs, the personality of the new brand is clear for all to see and runs consistently across all mediums whether its being used on screen or in print.
