How we work
Bring creativity to your office workspace, bar or restaurant with a bespoke mural from Root Studio
Our team has experience creating wall art, murals and custom signage for customers in a variety of sectors worldwide. Find out more about the process…
The briefing
When producing a mural design we’ll work with you to define a design brief - this will cover everything from your brand's personality, and your audience to the messaging you’re trying to deliver and more. We’ll also examine the space that you have available, taking note of the scale, material and surface quality of the area you’re looking to enhance.
The design process
Equipped with this information we’ll present a mood board of ideas to gauge your thoughts at the early stages accompanied with a formal estimate for the work involved. With a design route chosen our creatives will work with you to produce a design that you’re happy with and will present the artwork as if it were displayed in situ to give you a feel for the finished work.
Installation
With a design agreed we’ll produce and install the final artwork in one of a number of methods including printed wallpaper, self-adhesive vinyl graphics or hand painted.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a wall mural cost?
The fees for a wall mural vary from project to project depending on the style, the complexity of the design and space and your preferred installation method. Please get in touch for an estimate and we’ll be happy to discuss ballparks. As a rough guide, a wall mural typically starts at around £2,000+VAT.
How many revisions are included?
Up to three rounds of revisions as standard within our design contracts. Additional changes after this point are evaluated and estimated based on their complexity (we will never charge you extra without permission).
How long does the process take?
Timeframes can vary from project to project but as a rough guide the process typically takes between 3-5 weeks from brief to completion.
I am outside of the UK, how would this work?
No problem, we have many overseas clients and meet regularly via video call. All estimates and bills are provided in GBP and can be paid via bank transfer or credit card.
How do you bill for a project?
After a design contract has been agreed we will send over a deposit invoice for between 25-50% of the project fee (subject to requirements). The remaining balance will be billed upon completion with our standard 30 day payment terms.
