How we work
Our designers live to solve problems - finding the best solutions for communicating your message
We’ve produced interpretation signs for some of the world’s largest attractions, created stunning fascias for high street retail spaces and illustrated stunning wall murals for businesses of all sizes.
Communicating your message
Whether we’re producing a wall-mounted menu for a local cafe or interpretation panels for a new exhibit at a world class zoo - the process is the same. Firstly we discover what needs to be communicated with your audience and then we can focus on finding the best way to achieve this within an engaging design.
The creative process
We’ll work collaboratively with you to produce a design that illustrates your message beautifully whilst incorporating your signature brand style to maintain a consistent look and feel. Of course, signage comes in a variety of forms from hanging fabrics to light boxes, neons, wooden frames and aluminium panels - during our creative process we’ll assess what materials and formats would be most appropriate for your project.
The production process
We work closely with a selection of trusted suppliers that we’ve collaborated with for years to produce the very best quality signage. Once we’ve decided on a format for your displays we’ll liaise with our partners to gauge costs and implications before the creative process begins.
The installation process
Our expert partners will fit your sign or display safely and securely in position. For more complex scenarios they’ll also perform a site visit beforehand in order to assess the situation. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to fit your new signage yourself then that’s absolutely fine.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sign design cost?
Signage designs vary depending on the complexity of the message you’re looking to communicate as well as the intended format of the sign itself. Please contact us to discuss and we’d be happy to share a ballpark.
How many revisions are included?
Up to three rounds of revisions as standard within our design contracts. Additional changes after this point are evaluated and estimated based on their complexity (we will never charge you extra without permission).
Can you produce the content for my sign?
Yes, if you would like assistance creating content for your signage then we can include research and copywriting for an additional fee.
What happens if I don’t like the design concepts?
It’s important to consider what your target audience would respond well to rather than personal preference but if you don’t think any of the concepts fit the bill then we will discuss why this might be before revisiting the design phase and presenting more concepts for your consideration.
I am outside of the UK, how would this work?
No problem, we have many overseas clients and meet regularly via video call. All estimates and bills are provided in GBP and can be paid via bank transfer or credit card.
How do you bill for a sign design?
After a design contract has been agreed we will send over a deposit invoice for between 25-50% of the project fee (subject to requirements). The remaining balance will be billed upon completion with our standard 30 day payment terms.
How long should my sign last?
Typically a physical sign will come with a guarantee for a number of years and this is subject to the conditions in which it’s displayed as well as the care and maintenance it receives over its lifetime. In good conditions, some signage could feasibly last for up to a decade or more.
