We’re delighted to have been selected by Heritage Lincolnshire to make their vision for the Old Kings Head in Kirton a reality with the design of a creative brand, website and marketing materials.

The project presents a fantastic opportunity to re-imagine this unique venue in the heart of Lincolnshire. With funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund amongst others, plans to renovate and restore the building back to its former glory include a luxury B&B, deli/cafe, self-catering units as well as both boutique retail and office space by spring 2020. We're already excited about what we're likely to learn about the history of the Old Kings Head, its former residents, ghost stories and indeed the village of Kirton itself as we begin our branding exploration.

The Old Kings Head is a Grade II listed building found in a rural setting near Boston. The former coach house was originally built around 1599 to sit opposite the local church and its unconventional architecture is a rare and prestigious example of the Fen Mannerist Artisan style built using hand-made bricks (which were expensive at the time). But it isn't just the building's age and architecture that make it important - over the last 400 years or so The Old Kings Head has played a significant part within the local community playing host to centuries of events, socials and celebrations.

New visitors will be able to experience this character and unique building for the first time, making and leaving their own stories and memories within its C16th walls.

As well as creating a truly unique brand for the project we'll also be working with Heritage Lincolnshire to deliver a range of print and digital marketing materials as well as a stunning new website to help promote the finished offering to visitors from far and wide. We'll be doing all of this working alongside partners Shooting Star who will also be providing PR & Marketing support for the Old Kings Head.

This will mark the third major heritage project in the county that we've worked on over the last 12 months and is steadily becoming a real specialism of ours! In late 2018 we branded the Beonna at All Saints on its journey to become one of the county's most incredible events venues. The project involved producing a logo supported by a range of educational materials, beautifully crafted interpretation signage and a creative website design. We've also collaborated with Made By Katie Green recently on her latest nationwide project - Imagination Museum. Katie, an award winning choreographer, is breathing new life and a fresh perspective into local history and established museums with her contemporary dance performances and her Mayflower 400 creation is set to travel around venues across Lincolnshire this year.
