How we work
Working directly with our design team you can bring your vision to life through a tried and tested process
Great packaging design is about more than just catching someone’s eye from the supermarket shelf - it’s about communicating your brand, its story and its values in a format that’s engaging, practical and easy to use for the consumer.
Getting your branding right
From customer research to brand positioning, logo design and brand guidelines - our expert team of branding designers can help you to develop your identity across your whole product range.
The right packaging solution for you
Too often, packaging design is all just about the ‘looks’. We believe in making product packaging practical first and foremost, whether this is using an off-the-shelf pack shape or something more bespoke. We’ll work with you to select the right box, bottle or container for your product whilst applying your branding in a creative and engaging way.
Packaging collateral
Packaging design is about more than just a box or bottle - it’s all the extras too. From swing tags to promotional booklets, stickers, labels, delivery boxes and tissue paper - our designers will leave no stone unturned when considering the customer’s experience of your product from start to finish.
POS Displays
As well as developing your brand and creating your product packaging we can increase your brand awareness in-store with eye-catching and informative point of sale (POS) display designs.
Product marketing strategy
We can also support you with the delivery of cohesive campaigns across multiple channels including printed advertising and collateral, social media, digital advertising and your website (amongst others).
Environment
There’s nothing neutral about our feelings towards carbon. That’s why we’re dedicated to being carbon ‘positive’ forever. That means that any printed items produced by the studio will be offset at the end of the year at no extra cost to our customers. Materials and processes are a major consideration for the studio too - focusing on sustainable solutions at all times. Find out more about our environmental policy here.

Insights
In the world of conservation, effective marketing is crucial to achieving goals like raising awareness, driving fundraising and encouraging behavioural change.
What makes one street food stall stand out amongst the rest? Does it just come down to the flavours or is there something more going on?…
'Blanding' is a term used to describe the recent trend of creating remarkably similar, indistinguishably ‘modern’ brands typified by a simple sans serif logotype and simplified iconography. In essence, the mantra is ‘less is more’ with the goal of blending in… but is this at the cost of something deeper and more profound?
Frequently asked questions
How much does packaging design cost?
This depends on the complexity of the product pack, the number of SKUs and the messaging you’re trying to communicate. Please contact us to discuss your project and we’ll happily provide you with a ballpark figure to kick things off.
How do you quote for a project?
Design fees for a print project are usually calculated as a set fee (with the exception of retainers which are tracked at an hourly rate). Print fees will be sourced from our trusted network of specialists.
How many revisions are included?
Up to three rounds of revisions as standard within our design contracts. Additional changes after this point are evaluated and estimated based on their complexity (we will never charge you extra without permission).
What happens if I don’t like the design concepts?
It’s important to consider what your target audience would respond well to rather than personal preference but if you don’t think our concepts fit the bill then we will discuss why this might be before revisiting the design phase and presenting fresh ideas for your consideration.
I am outside of the UK, how would this work?
No problem, we have many overseas clients and meet regularly via video call. All estimates and bills are provided in GBP and can be paid via bank transfer or credit card.
How do you bill for a print project?
After a design contract has been agreed we will send over a deposit invoice for between 25-50% of the project fee (subject to requirements). The remaining balance and production fees will be billed upon completion with our standard 30 day payment terms.
Can I have access to the original artwork?
Yes, if you’d like a copy of the original packaged artwork then we can share this with you on request no problem.
