At Root Studio we produce creative, engaging and informative annual report designs
By developing a template that’s bespoke to your brand, we create user-friendly documents and microsites that allow your audience to engage with your content in new and exciting ways.
The creative process
We’ll work with you to develop a report template that suits your brand and the messages you’re trying to communicate. We’ll help to translate key statistics and information in creative and engaging ways and deliver a memorable and lasting experience.
Print production
Over the years we have built up a network of trusted experts in print production specialising in everything from brochures to exhibition displays, screen printing to letterpress, traditional sign writing and specialist print finishes. Wherever possible we take care to ensure that any products commissioned by the studio are built to last and use the most sustainable and appropriate materials possible.
Digital annual report design
Our experienced design team will produce a creative microsite design that approaches your report in a more interactive and engaging way. This concept will be iterated and refined and presented to you as a fully interactive prototype.
The development process
Our team of developers start all builds with the creation of a thorough digital style guide. All our code is written in-house to the latest standards by our experienced development team. Your website will be built within a secure staging area available for you to see at any stage during the development process.
Environment
There’s nothing neutral about our feelings towards carbon. That’s why we’re dedicated to being carbon ‘positive’ forever. That means that any printed items produced by the studio will be offset at the end of the year at no extra cost to our customers. Find out more about our environmental policy here.

Frequently asked questions
How do you quote for an annual report design?
Design fees for a report are usually calculated as a set fee (with the exception of retainer clients which would be tracked at an hourly rate). Any print fees will be sourced from our trusted network of specialists.
How many revisions are included?
Up to three rounds of revisions as standard within our design contracts. Additional changes after this point are evaluated and estimated based on their complexity (we will never charge you extra without permission).
I am outside of the UK, how would this work?
No problem, we have many overseas clients and meet regularly via video call. All estimates and bills are provided in GBP and can be paid via bank transfer or credit card.
How do you bill for a project?
After a design contract has been agreed we will send over a deposit invoice for between 25-50% of the project fee (subject to requirements). The remaining balance and production fees will be billed upon completion with our standard 30 day payment terms.
