At Root Studio we create affective brochure designs that connect with your audience
After discussing the goals for your brochure we’ll create a bespoke design that’s tailored to your business, your content and your audience in order to deliver your messaging in the most engaging way possible.
The creative process
We’ll work with you to develop a brochure format that suits your brand and the message you’re trying to communicate. We’ll help create the most affective page plan and deliver an outstanding design that fits seamlessly with your brand and engages with your target audience.
The production process
Over the years we have built up a network of trusted experts in print production specialising in everything from brochures to exhibition displays, screen printing to letterpress, traditional sign writing and specialist print finishes. Wherever possible we take care to ensure that any products commissioned by the studio are built to last and use the most sustainable and appropriate materials possible.
Environment
There’s nothing neutral about our feelings towards carbon. That’s why we’re dedicated to being carbon ‘positive’ forever. That means that any printed items produced by the studio will be offset at the end of the year at no extra cost to our customers. Find out more about our environmental policy here.

Frequently asked questions
How do you quote for a project?
Design fees for a print project are usually calculated as a set fee (with the exception of retainer clients which would be tracked at an hourly rate). Print fees will be sourced from our trusted network of specialists.
How many revisions are included?
Up to three rounds of revisions as standard within our design contracts. Additional changes after this point are evaluated and estimated based on their complexity (we will never charge you extra without permission).
What happens if I don’t like the design concepts?
It’s important to consider what your target audience would respond well to rather than personal preference but if you don’t think our concept fit the bill then we will discuss why this might be before revisiting the design phase and presenting fresh ideas for your consideration.
I am outside of the UK, how would this work?
No problem, we have many overseas clients and meet regularly via video call. All estimates and bills are provided in GBP and can be paid via bank transfer or credit card.
How do you bill for a print project?
After a design contract has been agreed we will send over a deposit invoice for between 25-50% of the project fee (subject to requirements). The remaining balance and production fees will be billed upon completion with our standard 30 day payment terms.
Can you produce brand templates?
Yes, we can produce templates for most typical softwares including Microsoft Office but also templates for email newsletters, social media, Adobe CC and more - if you have specific requirements please get in touch.
